Security Situation in Israel Causes Delivery Delays

Per the announcement below via the Universal Postal Union, Israel Post Company indicates interruptions and delays are being experienced in the south and center of Israel.

The designated operator of Israel, Israel Postal Company, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that interruptions and delays in the distribution and collection of mail (letter-post, parcels and EMS items) in the south and centre of Israel are to be expected as a result of the security situation in those regions.

Israel Postal Company thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding and will update them via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal.
