USPS Announces Market Dominant Price Adjustments

The U.S. Postal Service has announced market dominant price adjustments, scheduled to take effect on January 22, 2017. The adjustment will affect all market dominant products. As the announcement states, the proposed changes include, among other things, “an adjustment to bundle and piece pricing for the Flats Sequencing System (FSS) and Carrier Route 5-Digit categories; increased piece/pound breakpoints for Standard Mail flats; and a name change for Standard Mail, which will become USPS Marketing Mail.”
 
The price for single-piece First Class Mail International will remain unchanged from the current price of $1.15.

  • Outbound Single-Piece First-Class Mail International
  • Inbound Letter Post
  • International Ancillary Services
  • International Reply Coupon Service
  • International Business Reply Mail Service
And under Market-Dominant Negotiated Service Agreements:
  • Inbound Market Dominant Multi-Service Agreements with Foreign Postal Operators
  • Inbound Market Dominant Exprés Service Agreement
  • Inbound Market Dominant Registered Service Agreement
