USPS Figures for International Mail
Posted on August 15th, 2014

Nine months into the current fiscal year, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) reports international mail revenue of $706 million for the three-month April-June period and $2.289 billion for the nine-month October-June period. That means international mail revenue dropped 3.3 percent and 1.5 percent, respectively, over the same periods in the previous fiscal year. International mail volume was 204 million pieces from April to June, bringing total volume for the first three quarters of the fiscal year to 680 million pieces.
USPS points to a weak global economy as the primary factor behind declining international mail volume and revenue.
These figures are included in the Postal Service’s Form 10-Q filing with the U.S. Postal Regulatory Commission. Click here for the full report.
