International Hybrid Mail Coalition Launches Hybrid Mail Services Survey

Data will serve as core for planning creation of the UPU hybrid mail system

The International Hybrid Mail Coalition has launched a survey of the users and vendors of international hybrid mail services.  The survey results will serve as a base to determine the magnitude of the industry as it stands today.

Plans call for a team of experts from the industry and the Universal Postal Union to aggregate and analyze the data and present it to the Universal Postal Union POC Committee Four DPSG, which is charged with monitoring the International Hybrid Mail Coalition project.  This project has a mission to develop a hybrid mail system among posts within the dot Post Internet domain.  The survey consists of concise questions on volumes and destinations of hybrid mail files.  There are also a series of questions on the degree to which physical mail is then inserted into the posts where printed or in adjacent countries.
